CE Marking

Pressurised equipment
As of May 29th 2002, all pressurised equipment in the EU must be evaluated - and possibly CE marked - according to the directive 97/23/EU (known as PED).

As compared to the previous requirements regarding approval of pressure vessels and pressurised equipment, PED is far more extensive and differs in several crucial areas.

A number of Danish manufactures of pressurised equipment have already gained their CE approval based on assistance from Process Engineering A/S. Furthermore, we have designed, calculated and documented several pressurised plants for the refrigeration industry, the food industry, the pharmaceutical industry and the petrochemical industry.

Consequently, we are able to offer our customers up-to-date, comprehensive knowledge regarding PED.

Production Plants
Based on our experience in this particular field, Process Engineering A/S has developed various procedures for carrying out CE marking of both rebuilt plants and new plants. These procedures have been utilized in connection with tasks involving:

  • Dairy plants
